Diving Festival 2006
On august 31st in the wake of the Russian “Day of knowledge” Sipadan restaurant hosted a press conference dedicated to the forthcoming 5th Moscow International Diving Festival “Golden Dolphin”.
The theme range of the oncoming exhibition includes diving and spearfishing equipment, photo- and video equipment, water leisure sports, diving courses and tourism.
The festival, designed to propagate and develop diving in our country, is going to take place on February 15th-18th, 2006, in Moscow Gostiny Dvor - one of the most beautiful architectural ensembles of the Russian capital and a prestigious exhibition center located 150 meters away from the Kremlin.
Iana Churikova, an already well-known anchor from the previous festival, made an official presentation of the project which had been developed by the Association of the development of diving and leisure with the support of the Federal Agency on physical culture and sport, Russian Underwater Federation and the Center of underwater photographers of Russia.
Ergo, the “Golden Dolphin 2006” presents:
- More than 200 participant companies from 28 countries, among which:
- Russian and foreign producers and suppliers of diving and spearfishing equipment;
- The largest retail dive shops;
- Dive centers and dive clubs rendering services in the area of diving, as their name suggests;
- Ministries of tourism of various countries;
- The largest tourist agencies and companies, Russian and international NGO's, media.
- More than 20 000 visitors;
- Unique offers and discounts for goods and services presented at the exhibition;
- The largest in Eastern Europe International underwater film and photo Festival, featuring around 400 projects from 24 countries;
- Each day is a celebration! The visitors will have a unique opportunity to see the concerts by such celebrities as Garik Sukachev and “Neprikasaemye” (the “Untouchables”), Andrey Makarevish and the orchestra of Creole Tango, Alexey Kortnev and “Neschastny sluchay” (“The accident”), and Maxim Leonidov. The organizers have planned entertainment and show programs, master classes, presentations and many other events.
A special perk unheard of previously - Festival 2006 will feature a glass swimming pool 6 х 3 х 3 meters, where anybody willing to dive will have the opportunity to do so.
